Ever since I was a young child - Wellness, Natural and Quality have always been important to me, and I would seek out products with this criteria.
As I became a young adult, I was horrified to learn that many household and personal care products, labelled as natural, or green, may still have some chemical and/or synthetic additives in them. (that's because there are no labelling laws). These additives are usually grouped under the term "fragrance or parfum".
Fragrances are considered trade secrets so manufacturers are not required to divulge the ingredients that are used. I was shocked to learn that a fragrance may include up to 5,000 different ingredients (most of them being synthetic) and up to 300 of those ingredients may be chemicals such as parabens and phthalates . OMGosh!!! - Suddenly I was reading labels with a lot more diligence. Why?? - because many of the synthetic & chemical ingredients in these "trade secrets" can have adverse effects on our health such as disrupting our hormones or gut microbiome.
Armed with this information my desire for Wellness, Natural and Quality became even stronger. I explored a lot of natural options - some were ok, others were better - but there wasn't any product range that really spoke to me or gave me the level of quality-assurance I was looking for to support my family's wellbeing. So I kept looking.
Then one day - my friend Karen - suggested I try some products she'd been exploring. I trusted Karen's opinion and decided to give them a go. All I could say was WOW!!! - please tell me more. I quickly realised that Young Living's range of Essential Oils (EO's) and lifestyle products really are too good not to share.
