Chat with Cari - Navigating Personal Grief and Loss

In today's Chat with Cari - the lovely Rhonda White returns to share her experience of navigating 9 personal losses over the past 10-years.  We talk about her self-care, the different types of grief/loss from moving city/country or changing jobs, to anticipatory grief of the loss of an envisioned future.

In this Chat - Rhonda refers to NALAG (National Association for Loss and Grief) where she is a Volunteer Grief Worker.

Chat with Cari - Coping with Universal Grief

In today's Chat with Cari the lovely Rhonda White joins us to talk about Universal Grief.  Rhonda is both a Marriage and Funeral Celebrant, along with being a Volunteer Grief Support Worker with NALAG - National Association of Loss and Grief.

With the recent passing of Australian's Judith Durham (from the Seekers), Olivia Newton-John and Queen Elizabeth II - we chat about how Universal grief for the passing of these luminaries, along with events that may be happening in local communities, can trigger our own personal grief.

Coping with Grief and Loss

Amma Primicino & Cari Havican chat on Instagram about "Coping with Grief and Loss"

Grief is like living two lives. One is where you pretend that everything is ok and the other is where your heart silently screams in pain.

Grief is experienced in the face of a loss that helped form your identity. It can be the loss of a loved one, a beloved pet, friendship, personal dream or a romantic relationship, a natural disaster, divorce, and lots more.

Everyone experiences grief in different ways, depending on the circumstances surrounding the loss.
